While we usually leave fabric high jinks for others to fuss about, we were intrigued when a mill told us they could bond fabric to fleece. We were skeptical, to be sure, but the results are quite winning. The combination makes our exclusive Commando Sweater that much more hearty — the outer layer made of a poly/wool blend holds the warmth in while the inner layer of poly fleece keeps the wind out. Leather shoulder and elbow patches. It’s the kind of sweater that makes you wake to a gray, blustery day and shout, “Perfect!”
