Our Linen Full-Zip sweater has reverse plaited yarns on the elbow patches, the neck, the cuffs and the hem. Plaited yarns of different color, increasingly rare in the face of mass production — Faster! Cheaper! Faster! — allows the flat knit to reveal a topside color against the reverse side purl stitch. Trust us, it’s a wonderful technique that adds considerable character and would make an efficiency consultant shudder.
