The coated cotton gives it durability and water repellency. In addition it has a bi-swing back, big bellows pockets, suede elbow patches and collar stand, and a heavy-duty, 2-way brass YKK zipper with a storm flap in case you come across a monsoon. It’s an upgrade from that heavy, waxed green thing. Imported.
