You probably already have a basic Oxford with a buttondown collar in your closet. In fact, you may well have a dozen. But this is most definitely not a basic Oxford. The 100% cotton reversed chambray makes the color and oxford weave more pronounced than the run-of-the-mill fabric put forth by types less demanding than us. With its signature faded look and slight luster, it avoids looking both too stuffy and too clubby. Perhaps more importantly, its sport shirt fit makes it easy to roll up the sleeves and toss the pigskin around when you want to pretend you’re going to work off that second helping of barbecue. Button down collar. Patch pocket. Garment washed for softness. Made in Portugal.
