This model of the Endurance, in a scale of 1:48, features exacting detail and was built from the original ship plans, found in storage after the Framnaes shipyard ceased production. All of the materials used to construct the ship meet or exceed museum quality standards. Construction includes a space age, high definition hull, a genuine wood deck, and masts and yards with additional fabricated wood and brass features. What’s more, all of the paint is custom-made and impervious to ultra-violet light. This piece of history comes complete with a Black Walnut base, a leaded glass display case and a chill to run down the spine of those who find themselves standing in front of it.
